All three books, one package
The Complete Type 2 Series is Measure First, The Six-Month Program and The Maintenance System together — $121 bought separately, $97 as the series. It also includes The Baseline Week printable pack and the CGM Application Guide.
Who it's for. This series is built for someone working toward remission: it starts by measuring what your body actually does, then changes one thing at a time and checks whether it worked. If you have had type 2 for years and are managing it for life rather than chasing remission, this is not the right package for you — Living Well With Type 2 is, and it costs a third as much. We would rather say so than sell you the wrong book.
Breaking the Pattern is not part of the series. It is published on Amazon Kindle, where you can send yourself a free sample and read the opening chapters before you decide about anything here. It is the cheapest way to find out whether this way of writing about type 2 is any use to you.
Why separate books and not one
The person diagnosed last week and the person two years in need different things. Rather than one book that serves neither well, each guide takes one stage of the journey and does it properly.
The guides
Read in order, or take the one you need
- Measure First ($37, 65 pages). Twelve weeks, one change a week, each with a test that tells you whether it worked in your body. Opens with a baseline week where you change nothing, and is worked through with sixteen days of my own glucose data.
- The Six-Month Program ($47, 97 pages). Six monthly phases and 24 weekly action checklists — meal structure, walking, strength training, restaurants and travel, and what to change when progress stops.
- The Maintenance System ($37, 57 pages). A 90-day transition out of strict mode, structured food reintroduction to find your own limits, and a six-part system for the years after.
- Living Well With Type 2 ($37). For managing type 2 well over the long term.
- Before the Pattern ($27). For prediabetes and elevated risk, before a diagnosis arrives.
- Breaking the Pattern — the companion volume, on Amazon Kindle. What a diagnosis does and doesn't mean, what earlier generations were never told, and a realistic first 90 days. Free sample available before you buy.
Prefer one book at a time? Measure First is $37, and the rest are on the pricing page.

What it isn't
None of it is a cure, and none of it promises you a number. What the guides promise instead is that every claim is referenced to research you can check, the limits are stated plainly, and all of it is designed to be used with your healthcare provider rather than instead of one. One payment, yours for good, including future updates to the editions you buy.
Our guarantee
Read any PDF guide for a full 30 days. If it doesn't help, request a refund and you'll get every cent back — no forms, no questions. See our Refund Policy. The Kindle edition is refunded by Amazon under their policy instead.
